The Cuttlefish
Description
A kinetic, illuminated, inflatable multi disciplinary art vehicle inspired by the complexity of marine organisms. Created by a dozen collaborating artists, the piece combines sculpture, lighting, and motion.
The Cuttlefish is illuminated from within by thousands of individually-controlled LED’s and features dynamic LED screens as its eyes. It is often accompanied by live DJs performing from atop the vehicle. Multiple axis of motion give this piece something extra that makes it that much more lifelike. The result is a large-scale, immersive experience that functions as both a moving art installation and a performance space.
